NCE30

On August 10th, 2008, on my birthday, I took a couple of my closest friends in the whole world and we caravaned from Greensboro to meet Winston-Salem guys at Hanes Mall McDonalds’ parking lot. In typical NC August weather, the heat was searing. A few people got food poisoning from McD tea. With nothing but r3vlimited, we got the word out about our meet, and we managed to gather 7 E30s. Adam drove 5 hours each way from Havelock to spend a day in his oxidized copper car, which was famous on forums, posted and reposted in hundreds of threads on all kinds of websites. After a short cruise we chowed down at Golden Corral and played with a pack of Corgi service dogs in the parking lot. And that’s how North Carolina E30 Group was born.
